Jerry is a longtime northwest boater and yachting industry veteran. He began his love of the boating lifestyle at a very early age, cruising with his parents aboard the family’s 38’ Richardson on the Columbia River system during the year, and along the east coast of Vancouver Island in the summers. Jerry’s love of the area continues today aboard his own cruiser SEAWARD.

Jerry received and gave practical training as the navigator aboard the USS Mt. Baker in the US Navy.

After completing his education in advertising and marketing at the University of Oregon, Jerry joined Tollycraft Corporation as the company’s Sales Administrator. In that position he helped Tollycraft expand its US dealer network, and was instrumental in the development of the popular 48 Tollycraft Motor Yacht and 34 Tri-Cabin models. Jerry also managed Tollycraft’s advertising and marketing efforts.

After almost 10 years with Tollycraft, Jerry opened his own retail Grand Banks and Uniflite dealership, known as Seaward Yacht Sales in Portland, OR. The business prospered and a second office was opened in Seattle, WA. After selling the business in the late 1980s Jerry held a number of positions in the industry including a senior management position at one of the largest US retail dealerships.

The lure of high quality motor yachts has always tugged at Jerry’s love of relaxed family cruising, and the Selene product line matches well.  He looks forward to serving his continued clients as well as new clients from his position with Selene Seattle
